Crop area was higher than the last year, but due to excess rainfall there was loss of crop.
Large portion of harvest was of lower quality, this resulted in all time high price.
On Positive side – Higher price has given big confidence boost to farmer community. From past few years, crop area was reducing due to disease and high labour cost.
